ArrowToWaypoint -Support (EN)

The idea for ArrowToWaypoint was born during a trip to Morocco.
We were exploring the Erg Chebbi — a sandy desert with high dunes in some areas. There were many tracks in the sand, and GPS road navigation was still somewhat working.
Then came the sandstorm. After that, there were no tracks left — and no internet connection either. All we could see was an untouched expanse of sand.
A pure GPS-based arrow navigation to our target would have been incredibly helpful — easy to read even on bumpy rides and in bright sunlight.

ArrowToWaypoint – Clear. Simple. Reliable.

  • Shows you the direction and distance to a waypoint
  • Works without internet, even when map apps fail
  • Save your current location with a single tap — so you can find your way back
  • Search for a destination using the integrated map
  • Save as many waypoints as you like under names you choose
  • Easily search and find them by name
  • Optimized for outdoor use — readable even in direct sunlight
  • Keeps your last waypoint even after restarting the app
  • Actively used, improved, and maintained by the developer

Support
I don’t offer traditional support — I simply don’t have the time. The app is actively used by me and corrected, improved, or extended as needed.
You’re welcome to report bugs or send suggestions to: info@arrowtowaypoint.com
I’ll fix known bugs as soon as I can. Useful suggestions may be implemented.
But — please don’t expect a reply.

Privacy
The app does not store or transmit any personal data or information to me or third parties.
Your location data is only used within the app to calculate the direction and distance to the target, and to store waypoints you choose. I have no access to this data.

Why is ArrowToWaypoint free?
I personally benefit from many free tools others have created — and I’m grateful for that.
This app follows the same spirit.

My request to you: If you like ArrowToWaypoint and use it regularly, please consider giving something back:
Donate $10 once a year to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Because: If many give who can, many are helped who need it.
